Elijah Craig Single Barrel 15 Year Bourbon Whiskey 750ml
Description
Elijah Craig Single Barrel 15 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery. In fact, it is the brand’s first single barrel release with a 15-year age statement. The bourbon spends 15 years in new charred oak barrels. After that, it is bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV). This long aging builds deep flavor and strong oak character. On the nose, it opens with dark fruit aromas like fig and dried cherry. In addition, soft floral notes appear. Aged oak also comes forward. These layers create a rich and mature aroma. On the palate, the bourbon is full-bodied and structured. First, toasted oak leads the way. Then, roasted nuts, caramel, and vanilla follow. Baking spice builds in the background. As it develops, deeper notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and butterscotch appear. These flavors add warmth and depth. What sets this bourbon apart is its balance of age and strength. The 15 years in oak add depth and complexity. At the same time, the 108 proof keeps it lively. As a result, it avoids feeling too dry or overly woody. Instead, it stays balanced and expressive. The finish is long and warming. Caramel and baking spice fade into ginger and sweet oak. Finally, it lingers without feeling heavy.Overall, this is a bold and mature bourbon. It works best for slow sipping. In conclusion, it suits drinkers who enjoy rich oak, layered sweetness, and steady complexity.
