Domaine Pinson Mont de Milieu Chablis 2021 750ml
Description
Mont de Milieu stands as one of Chablis’ most reliable Premier Crus, and Domaine Pinson’s interpretation showcases their mastery of traditional winemaking. This 2021 demonstrates the site’s ability to produce excellent wines even in challenging vintages.
The wine opens with bright aromatics of citrus and green apple, showing the freshness that 2021 preserved. The Mont de Milieu terroir contributes excellent minerality – notes of chalk and wet stone provide complexity. As it develops, subtle hints of white flowers and honey emerge. Despite the vintage challenges, Pinson’s careful work has created surprising concentration. On the palate, vibrant acidity frames pure fruit flavors, while the texture shows depth from extended lees contact. The finish extends with impressive persistence.
This 2021 Mont de Milieu proves that skilled producers can craft compelling wines regardless of vintage conditions. Pinson’s traditional approach and intimate knowledge of their vineyards result in a Premier Cru that maintains both typicity and quality. For those who appreciate Chablis’ mineral expression over sheer power, this bottle offers authentic character at a fair price.
