A magnificently aged mezcal expression, the Mezcal Delirio de Oaxaca Anejo offers a smooth and robust agave character to deliver a thrilling drinking experience. Made from a blend of hand-harvested Maguey Espadin and Madre-Cuishe agaves, the mezcal begins with the roasted of the agave hearts in underground stone ovens fired by mesquite and copal. After baking for 3 days, the agaves are then crushed using a tahona stone, fermented in pine vats, and double-distilled before being aged for 12 months in new American white oak barrels to create a rich yet elegant flavor profile enhanced by lovely wood notes.
