A 23 year old single malt from the Bowmore distillery, aged completely in port casks to compliment the floral and peaty flavours the Islay distillery is known for. Because it’s such a special release, it is presented in a handsome crimson box.
Bowmore 23 Year Old Port Cask Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: A fabulous smoke simmers above a warming stew of plums and oranges.
Palate: More peat develops on the palate, but it doesn’t overwhelm the fruits within.
Finish: Drying and delicious.
